The weather is getting better the nights are getting lighter its all looking better, been able to get into the garden this weekend, got a few bits and pieces from the garden centre two witch hazel shrubs / trees, and planted a purple border and up the pots with bulbs gladioli lillys etc so we should have plenty of colour.

Started sowing seeds for veg courgette, leek, chilli, sweetcorn, calabrese, sprouts.

Good weekend of football, United went top and will stay there even if chelski win their game in hand, all very tight though gonna go to the wire. Minteq win again in the Sunday league Luke scored two.

Something very strange happened on Saturday kate got up to let the dogs and chickens out and one did a runner as she left the gate open, try as we might couldnt get it back and then it disappeared next door, we both went out and by the time we got back not only was the chicken back but it had got back into the pen How???

Looking to buy a greenhouse soon and thinking about swapping my car time for a change I think.

booked summer holls now turning mind to winter one snowboarding

March 2010

Its March and Spring is here, the job which I was told had 70 applicants which i got, unbelievable to thing that I had no experience or quals in gardening but was still chosen, think it was the photos I took in of my own garden, sweet.
Also starting a NVQ in Horticlture didnt think I would be studying again just goes to show never say never

The job is only supposed to be 3 days a week but at the moment working 5 days its varied work and the people are great. Looking forward to planting seeds and getting back into my own garden too.

Ziggy not been well think he has cushions disease, jody ok, the boys doing well Joe on works experience in an architects in manby and enjoying it Kate away in Czech republic missing her. Booked summer holiday a week in Sorrento without the kids as they are away with school, fortunate.

We joined the new leisure centre in Louth and getting fitness back. Its really good and the kids can swim for free. Minteq ar doing well unbeaten in Scunthorpe league, 14s sunday league currently third which is good considering they are a year yunger, not happy with The Jack Karlon league not doing anything about the semi final that we coukdnt play as we didnt have enough players s three were playing for the district and bottesford wouldnt postpone must be terrible needing to win that much got our own back though as we beat them in the league.
